Mr. Nimbe Oviosu
Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is an accomplished executive with an impressive track record in the insurance industry.
He has held various executive positions in the industry, including the roles of MD/CEO at Unic Insurance Plc., Trust & Guarantee Insurance Co.Ltd., and Crusader General Insurance Plc.. During his tenure in the industry, he was a long time member of the Legal Liability Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers (IUMI).
With his extensive experience in the industry, Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is a recognized authority in the field of nsurance. He holds an Honors Degree in Law and has attended extensive technical courses and management training overseas with Commercial Union, London, Munich Re, Swiss Re, including the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) London. He has also earned an Executive Education Certificate from the Lagos Business School, where he gained additional knowledge in business management. Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is a visionary leader with a passion for excellence.
In 2010, he founded Bureau De Maritime Ltd. with a vision to impart knowledge and improve marine technical results of primary insurance companies for ultimate profitability.
Since its inception, Bureau De Maritime Ltd. has become a leading provider of vessel
survey and cargo inspection services in Nigeria.
As the Executive Chairman of Bureau De Maritime Ltd., Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. He is committed to providing top-quality services to clients and upholding the company’s core values of quality, integrity, transparency, safety, teamwork, and innovation. In addition to his role at Bureau De Maritime Ltd., Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is also actively involved in assisting importers (all cargo interests) in the administration of claims against companies, ship
owners, P&I clubs, and port terminal operators.
With his extensive experience and training, Mr. Nimbe Oviosu is a respected figure in
the insurance industry. He is widely recognized for his expertise and is often called
upon to share his knowledge and insights with industry professionals.
He is a regular
speaker at industry events and has published several articles on various aspects of the
insurance industry.
